An early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver bowl, Rangoon circa 1920 Of circular form with a rounded base. The body with embossed decoration of Ramayana scenes against a fish scale pattern and with hanging drapery, interspersed by trees. The central frieze all below a convex chased foliate band, the base section with stylised palmette. Diameter – 18 cm / 7.1 inches Height – 12.5 cm / 4.85 inches Weight – 593 grams / 19.07 ozt
