An early 20th century French 9 carat two-colour gold cigarette case, with Austrian import marks for Linz/Lintz 1901-22
Of rectangular form with rounded corners, stand-away hinge with a push release cabochon cut red paste. The exterior formed of alternating bands of plain rose gold and reeded yellow gold, also with ring attachment. Marked with AV import mark to top flange, also stamped with numerals 34421.
