An early 20th century French silk, gold and diamond evening bag, the brown silk bag with a gold clasp decorated with foliage and ribbon bows, with a monogram set with eight cut diamonds, on a belcher link chain, engraved 1er Juin 1912, stamped with French poincon, maker's mark RG, 15cm x 15.5cm
Condition Report:
There is some snagging to the silk. The corners are worn. The threaded parts have some wear. The gold section is in mostly good condition with some light scratches and scuffs. There are some dents to the interior gold section. All diamonds are present. The chain is in good condition.
