An early 20th century gold emerald and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the rectangular-shape emerald, with split pearl scalloped surrounds and similarly-set tapered surmount. May be worn as a brooch. Estimated dimensions of emerald 7 by 4.5mms. Length 3.6cms. Weight 4.5gms. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Possible replacement split pearls. Emerald is a medium slightly blueish green hue, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.

Emerald in good to fair condition with some abrasions and small nicks to facet edges. Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Some appear slightly discoloured.
