An early 20th century gold enamel, diamond and seed pearl brooch. Of kite-shape outline, the rose-cut diamond lattice, with seed pearl spacers, atop a blue enamel panel. Length 4.2cms. Weight 9.1gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and some discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Some diamonds with small nicks and cavities. Blue enamel is in good condition, with minor pitting. Seed pearls are a creamy white hue, with iridescent overtones and typical surface blemishes.

Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.

Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
