An early 20th century gold graduated Thai ruby and single-cut diamond hinged bangle.Verbal from GCS, stating Thailand, no heat.Central ruby calculated weight 0.61ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.9 by 4.3 by 3.1mms.Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct.Inner diameter 5.9cms. 12.1gms.

Surface scratches and small marks.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Rubies appear a well matched bright, deep medium slightly purplish red. Minimal abrasions.
Electronically tests as approximately 13ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
