An early 20th century gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Designed as a pearl, with rose-cut diamond and cushion-shape sapphire heart-shape surrounds, to the similarly-set terminal knife-edge bar. Length 4.4cms. Weight 8.2gms. Pearl untested. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. One terminal slightly bent. A few diamonds with small chips. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.

One sapphire chipped to pavilion, another one with small chip to crown. Sapphires are a well matched deep blue hue in overall good condition with minor abrasions only. Pearl untested for natural origin, in good condition with minor abrasions. Glue residue visible to base. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
