An early 20th century moonstone and diamond Edna May style necklace, with a central claw set circular cabochon moonstone, suspending an openwork knife edge drop accented with an old European diamond, into an articulated drop further set with a larger oval moonstone. A trace link back chain with a bolt ring clasp, marked 9ct. The moonstones are of fine quality, displaying a strong blue adularescence. Weights estimated as 14.00ct and 17.00ct. Chain length 410mm, drop 70mm. 11.05g Condition Report: The moonstones are large and clean, with a beautiful blue sheen. They are exceptional for their size/quality. The necklace is in very good condition, with little sign of wear.
