An early 20th century night watchman's watch, the white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds hand, indistinct maker's marks, with Swiss movement in nickel case stamped '1816450', housed in an oak case with hinged front, velvet lined plinth and three 'The Obach Dry Cell' Siemens Brothers & Co batteries with leather carry handle, 16 x 16 x 8cm (af).Condition Report Notable losses to the outer case nickel finish, hairline fracture to the enamel dial through the subsidiary dial pin, clock glass missing and there is no bulb to the upper portion of the clock, velvet plinth worn bottom left otherwise appears ok, the case is worn showing signs of wear throughout including scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, splits, losses etc, all commensurate with use and age.
