An early 20th century platinum, opal doublet and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal doublet, with circular-cut diamond scalloped surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size J. Weight 3.2gms.
Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Scratches and small dents in keeping with general age and wear. Small damages to the gallery. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Small, scattered, mostly dark inclusions. Opal doublet with good play of colour, predominently reddish orange, green and blue hues. Moderate surface abrasion. Stamped 8067. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
