An early 20th century sapphire and diamond brooch.

Designed with two stacked circular-shape sapphires to graduated old-cut diamond surrounds, with similarly-cut diamond and circular-shape sapphire terminals, total diamond weight approximately 1.35ct, length 6.1cm.
Condition Report: Gross weight approx. 9.5g Fitted with later safety chain. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds reasonably well matched and bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Diamonds with moderate light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification. The sapphires are bright, with light surface scratches, nibbles to the facet edges and typical inclusions. Base metal pin.
