An early 20th century platinum and 18ct gold, opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, with old-cut diamond surround and stylised fleur-de-lis shoulders. Estimated dimensions of opal 12.7 by 9.5 by 5.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Ring size L1/2. Weight 4.3gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some gems possible replacements, mount and claws worn.

Diamonds well matched. Two diamonds chipped. Opal is a white body colour, with good to fair play-of-colour, displaying predominantly green, violet and orange hues. Some smaller areas with no play-of-colour.

Opal is in good to fair condition with noticeable abrasion and scratches.
