An early 20th century silver pedestal dish, of circular form with pierced gallery border, leading to a tapered stem raised upon a spread circular base, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1917, height 5.75 (14.5 cm). Together with a small silver dish, of circular form with pierced shaped sides, raised upon three ball feet, hallmarked William Adams Ltd, Birmingham 1939, an Edwardian silver King's pattern teaspoon, a 1920's silver teaspoon, a mid-20th century silver coffee spoon, a pair of Edwardian silver sugar tongs and a 1920's silver button hook. Total gross weight 20.29 ozt (631.3 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: Pedestal dish in good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Maker's mark partly obscured but still legible, other hallmarks clear. Small pieced dish with knocks to the pieced sides, and surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Spoons all with scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. 1920's teaspoon with a number of knocks to the sides of bowl.Sugar tongs slightly misshapen, and with surface scratches, wear and tarnishing.Button hook with a number of small indentations throughout, some knocks, scratches, and heavy tarnishing.Group lot, sold as seen.
