An early George III silver pap boat, the plain body of typical oval form with a simple punch beaded rim. Hallmarks partly worn, probably Charles Chesterman I, London 1766. Length 5" (12.8cm), weight 1.57 ozt (49 grams).
Condition Report:
- Displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- A few rim splits and previous repairs.
- Residues of sticky labels to the underside.
- Hallmarks located at the opposite end to the spout, below the overhang of the rim. Heavily rubbed.
