An early George V Britannia silver caster, the bellied octagonal form with girdle detail above a footed base, and a removable domed cover with stylised foliate piercing. Hallmarked London 1913, maker's mark partly visible possibly Robert Frederick Fox, further incised to base 'Made in England for Tiffany & Co.' Height to finial 7 (17.7 cm), weight 11.17 ozt (347.5 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: Appears in a fairly tarnished state throughout and displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.A few minor surface dints and nicks, especially to some edges and corners. Lid appears to be a fairly good fit. Hallmarks clear and legible and repeated to lid. Maker's marks to both parts very worn.
