An early George V silver pedestal sauce boat, together with a pair of 1930's Scottish silver sauce boats.

An early George V silver pedestal sauce boat, of bellied form with reeded rim above engraved monogram and date to one side, with tall spout and loop handle and raised on an oval foot, hallmarked Roberts & Belk Ltd., Sheffield 1914, height to handle 6" (15cm). Together with a pair of 1930's small Scottish silver sauce boats, of typical form with flying scroll handles and stepped hoof feet, hallmarked Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh 1933. Total weight 12.38 ozt (385 grams).

Condition Report:
- All displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Pedestal sauce boat appears in fairly good overall condition. Heavier surface scratches to some areas. Date below monogram 1892-1917.
- Hallmarks located below rim and in good order. Further lamp mark to base above numbers 8318.
- Scottish sauce boats of fairly thin gauge with heavier tarnishing and residues of polish to some areas.
- A few minor surface dints to both and slight nicks/knocks around the rims.
- Hallmarks located to each base, all legible with some light rubbing. Also with impressed maker's name.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
