An early George V silver three piece tea service.

An early George V silver three piece tea service, comprising teapot, twin-handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each of circular pedestal form with applied strap work decoration and similar motif borders, teapot with stained wood handle and finial. Hallmarked George Harding & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1912. Maximum length of teapot 10.5" (26.5cm), gross weight 45.42 ozt (1413 grams).

Condition Report:
- Overall appears in fairly good overall condition.
- All displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and general use.
- Residues of polish visible.
- Some minor surface nicks and heavier contact marks to some areas. Especially around some edges and rims.
- Seam lines visible at joins of handles.
- Hinged lid of teapot appears in good working order and closes flush. Interior heavily stained.
- Handle section of teapot with some slight movement.
- On the top handle mount, there is a small patch of little gouges in the metal on one side.
- Hallmarks all legible with some rubbing, including part hallmarks to lid.
