An early Victorian gold turquoise sentimental brooch. Comprising a grooved scroll, with turquoise cabochon floral highlights, suspending a similarly-designed drop and further drop on snake-link swag. Length 8cms. Weight 11gms. With fitted case.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and vrey minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
General slight discolouration.
Central brooch with small glazed panel to the reverse.
Turquoise are a mostly well matched medium blue hue, some with slight greenish blue hues. Slight dark matrix visible.
One turquoise with small chip at the collet.
