An early Victorian silver cream jug & a late Victorian silver beaker. (2).

An early Victorian silver cream jug, the plain bellied form with tongue capped scroll handle and raised on foliate scroll feet, hallmarked Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard, London 1841, height to handle 6" (15cm). Together with a late Victorian silver beaker of slightly tapered form with gadroon style decoration to lower body, and contemporary and later personal engravings, hallmarked Nathan & Hayes, Birmingham 1892, height 3.75" (9.5cm). Weight 9.57 ozt (297.6 grams). (2).

Condition Report:
- Both pieces displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Cream jug with several surface dints and knocks, especially around the bellied section. Hallmarks located to the base and these clear and legible.
- Beaker with some minor surface dints, a visible seam line and knocks around the base rim. Surface wear to decoration with some slight loss of detail to some areas. With personal engravings dated 1899 and a later one dated 1953. Hallmarks located below the rim, these rubbed but legible.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
