An early black steatite hemispheroid stamp seal, Southeastern Anatolia, c. 4200 - 3500 BC, with domed back and longitudal drill for suspension. On base a lovely negative resist design depicting two quadrupeds back to back. Dia: 22 mm. A superb example! Ex California Museum of Art de-dccession.
