An emerald and diamond hinged bangle. Of asymmetric design, the pear-shape emerald cabochon, with calibre-cut emerald and brilliant-cut diamond line openwork sides, to the grooved half-bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 2 to 2.25cts. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 24.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Evidence of repair to small section of the bangle, slightly uneven appearance.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Some diamonds with small scattered inclusions.
Emeralds are well matched, medium green hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some possibly surface reaching.
Emeralds are in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges, few small nicks.
