1st: The plaited hairwork panel within a floral black enamel and chased surround accented by seed pearls, to a Maltese cross of woven hairwork design, the borders of chased acanthus leaf design set with circular-cut garnets, the reverse inscribed 'MARY WID: of F.WATTS SHARPE DIED MARCH 26th 1838. AGED 68./N. SHARPE. DIED AUGUST 30th 1868, AGED 62./ BLESSED ARE THE DEAD WHO DIE IN THE LORD FOR THEY REST FROM THEIR LABOURS', mounted in gold, 2nd: The Maltese cross of woven hairwork design and set with circular-cut garnets in pinched, foiled and closed back settings, mounted in gold, lengths: 1st 4.8cm, 2nd 6.3cm (2)
