The shallow dish painted with an atmospheric snowy scene depicting a figure in a small boat fishing in a vast, mountain surrounded river, the top titled 'Hanjiang du diao' (fishing alone in the cold river); the underside decorated with flower heads and scrolls flanking a circular foot ring, enclosing a square Qianlong nian zhi seal mark; together with a custom made magnifier.
