An honour dagger for officers, World War I
Well-preserved, double-edged, slightly curved blade with a biconvex cross-section, the upper half with arabic inscriptions and on the reverse the Sultan's tughra with Star and crescent, with a date below. Relief brass grip and scabbard en suite. Accompanied by a leather carrying attachment. blade re-polished. Signs of wear and age. Overall length with scabbard 36 cm.
