Arabic manuscript on paper, 298 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in neat naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in red and black, gilt discs between verses, inner margins ruled in green, blue, red and gold, catchwords, sura headings written in thuluth script in red within illuminated rectangular panels, one double-page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, some tears crudely repaired, corners rather thumbed, rather browned with some soiling, floral lacquer binding, covers richly decorated with flowerheads and vegetal motifs, doublures decorated with a floral diaper pattern, split to spine
