Arabic manuscript on paper, 127 leaves, 10 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, interlinear gilt cloudband decoration throughout, inner margins ruled in red, blue and gold, catchwords in wide margins, titles written in thuluth script in red ink, one illuminated headpiece in gold and some colour, outer margins of ff. 1v-2r decorated with an intertwining floral and vegetal motif in gold and some colour, creased, later black morocco, covers with stamped central gilt leather medallions decorated with flower and birds
213 x 140 mm.
A Persian inscription on the flyleaf at the beginning mentions the name of the scribe as Mirza Ahmad al-Tabrizi and the date AH 1259/AD 1843-44.
