An impressive cordiform silver Asyk Pendant, Turkestan, Teke Tribe - 1880-1900
Worn originally also as a hair ornament. The heart-shaped Asyk Pendant is decorated with fine scrollwork, zigzag filigree on its borders and center. Inset with 3 carnelian stones and a large carved carnelian amulet in the center. (damaged)
