An impressive gilded silver and textile Tumar amulet chest ornament - Turkestan 1870-1920
The ornament is comprised of a triangular element finely engraved and gilded. Above decorated in floral motifs. The center of the ornament is an amulet holder which opens on both of its ends. Below is an organic element followed by silver chains with bells at their ends. on each side 4 inset, engraved and gilded silver pendants followed by a silver pendant embossed in organic design. Red and green textile incorporated into the pierced openwork. Red carnelian stones set throughout.
