An infantry flintlock rifle, Suhl, circa 1810Round barrel with smooth bore in 18 mm calibre, somewhat spotted. The lockplate with a Suhl proof mark. Full stock with recessed cheekpiece (French style), distinct traces of use. Brass furniture and iron butt cap, iron ramrod. Length 141 cm. During the time of the Napoleonic wars, the armament of the Wuerttemberg troops was inconsistent; due to high demand foreign models were also purchased and converted.Condition: II - III
