This finely cast copper alloy portrait depicts Lorepa Wanchuk Tsondru (1187-1250), the Drukpa Kagyu lama who was a disciple of the First Gyalwang Drukpa, and later founded Tharpaling in Bhutan. He was known as Lorepa, the cotton-clad yogi of the Lo clan.
