An interesting 19 century Mughal Indian talwar with an extraordinary blade (the width of the blade below the hilt is staggering 8.5 mm) which is more reminiscent of an execution sword Tegha blade than the one of an average talwar; possibly Wootz steel; silver hilt bears intricate etched symmetric ornaments; overall length – 87 cm, blade – 75 cm
