An large Egyptian pale blue-green faience ushabti, c. 664 - 332 BC, on integral base, mummiform wearing striated tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, basket over left shoulder, vertical plinth down back and "T-Style" column of hieroglyphic text down front of legs. H: 6 1/4 in (15.8 cm). Light blue color with light surface deposits; lucite base. Ex Washington, DC private collection acquired in the early 1990's.
