An oak and marble topped centre table or table à gibier in 18th century style, the grey and white variegated fossil marble top above plain frieze and carved cabriole legs terminating in hoof feet, 76cm high, the top 111cm wide, 70cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,Some old splits and cracks, some later supporting blocks to interior of the frame, also some areas where blocks have previously been stood and removed during repairs and restoration. The frame is now solid and stable overall, The marble is probably later associated this carries the usual knocks, chips and marks. This is finished on all four sides - it could be used as a centre table or as a side table - the marble over hanging sufficiently to allow for this use if wished.
