† An oak child's gateleg table, circa 1700, one short end with single frieze drawer above the rectangular supports and action, 52cm high, 76cm wide (open), 61cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Later hinges to one leaf. Old holes to the underside from previous hinges. Some later dowels and nails to the top. Blocks to the undersides of the leaves and handle possibly later associated.Some evidence of old worm. Slight warping to the timber of the top. Larger chip to the edge of one of the hinged leaves.
