An original Bronze Sculpture by noted Artist George Phippen of Brahma Bull, 9 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" tall, mounted on 1 1/4" wooden base. George Phippen (July 11, 1915-April 13,1966) was an American sculptor and painter from Arizona. He was the co-founder and first president of the "Cowboy Artists of America." He is the namesake of the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona. Phippen gifted this Bronze to his good friend Melvin C. Warren, who was also an artist and sculptor, and member of the Cowboy Artists of America.
