An unusual Chinese 'Canton' famille rose punch bowl
Qing dynasty, 19th century
The rim enamelled and gilt to interior and exterior with a birder of iron-red chrysanthemum flowerheads with scrolling green leaves, the well and sides with shaped medallions of boys on dragon boats and vases of flowers against a pink scrolling floral ground, the centre with birds and a cockerel amongst peonies, the base plain and glazed white, 33.5cm diameter.
