The Property of Yasuko and Maury Kraines, Beverly Hills, California. Dimensions: Condition Report: Structurally sound. With a warm honey color to the figured timber. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracks, wear and fading commensurate with age and use. Notable fading to timber of back. With a restored shrinkage crack to top and additional small areas of patched repair and overpainted restoration. Hingest replaced. With patched repair around areas of hinges. Lock replaced. Similar patching around lock and catch. Interior possibly later fitted. Lacking one lid to interior, With cracking, replacements and overpainted restoration to frieze molding and apron timber. With a plugged repair to knee of front right leg. Back right leg with overpainting to knee. Replacements to support blocks of underside. With old shipping label to underside. One key.
