An unusual circa 1775-1780Â English porcelain bowl, possibly Lowestoft; hand-decorated with various
Masonic symbols including crescent moon with face, sun, stars and interior decoration of two temple pillars with stylised sun, further Masonic-style motifs to the outside of the body, raised on short circular foot (hairlines and small chips) (11cm in diameter). Sold together with original Phillips (101 New Bond Street, London) identification letter signed by John Sandon and dated 7th October 1994
