Dial: Guilloché with blue enamel, roman chapters on white enamel reserves, blued hands
Case: Boldly cast and chased with ram's heads above scroll corners with grotesque mask feet, the side panels within shaped frames depicting putti emblematic of study on blue guilloché ground, handle in the form of entwined snakes, monogramed KSVD and dated Jan'y 1884
