Footnote: The faceted stem and S-form arms of this chandelier are characteristic of the work of Perry & Co. Founded in the mid-18th century as Parker & Perry, the 19th century incarnation of Perry & Co. of 72 New Bond St. were Londons preeminent glass manufacturers providing fittings for Royal residences, Carlton House and the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, as well as those of the nobility including Devonshire House, Piccadilly and Thornton Manner, Merseyside and those of wealthy industrialists like Joseph Shuttleworths Old Warden Park, Bedfordshire. Dimensions: Condition Report: Impressive, In remarkably good condition overall. With marks, scratches, scattered chips, losses and replacements. With some well matched replacements and repairs to scrolled elements. Bases of inserts numbered. Wired for electricity to outside of arms. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
