Serving Plate with Fruit Basket and Birds : Nuremberg, c. 1730 Oval, eight-pocket curved form with reinforced rim on four feet with attached bars; in the centre a large basket with fruits and feather leaves flanked by two birds, in the eight fields of the rim alternating high pedestal with bird on fruit basket and lower pedestal with flower vase. White glazed faience with blue painting. 4 x 54 x 40,5 cm. - Cf. fig. S. Glaser: Nuernberger Fayencen, p. 435f, cat. 316+317. - Of very good condition, only small bumps at the rim and at the feet. // Anbietplatte mit Fruechtekorb und Voegeln : Nuernberg, um 1730 : Ovale, achtpassig geschweifte Form mit verstaerktem Rand auf vier Fuessen mit angesetzten Stegen; im Zentrum grosser Korb mit Fruechten und Fiederblaettern von zwei Voegeln flankiert, in den acht Randbogenfeldern alternierend hohes Postament mit Vogel auf Fruechtekorb sowie niedrigeres Postament mit Blumenvase. Weiss glasierte Fayence mit Blaumalerei. 4 x 54 x 40,5 cm. - Vgl. Abb. S.
