It is part of specimens produced for the US market between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, dimensions 350x268 cm, decorated with large flowering ramages gathered to form a medallion in the center and distributed symmetrically across the entire field. The wool used is of high quality, probably imported from the United Kingdom, and the color is a refined shade of pink called dughi. As is known, "American" Saruk carpets are today among the most sought after and appreciated ancient Persian carpets.
