Ancient buddhist bi disc. Carved hardstone with slight historic remnants of cinnabar pigment. Vertically-sided central perforation, decorated upon both faces with a multitude of T-shaped elements in a 'stupa-pattern' (as seen from above). China, approximately 600 AD (Late Tang dynasty).
Overall: D 9-1/4 in. Inner: D 1-7/8 in.
Thickness: 7mm.
