LARGE CHINESE FAIRY TILE OF THE MING DYNASTY Important ridge statuette in fine moulded and enamelled ceramic of warrior. Rider dressed in a garment with wide sleeves, wearing a high bun. He stands on his horse, turned in profile. One hand is protruded forward, while the other is resting on his chest. Ceramic with sancai type glaze, green, ochre and black colour. The face is painted. Ming dynasty, 1368 to 1644 AD Height 40. 2 cm - length 31. 3 cm - Perfect condition Perfect condition, no restorations Provenance : R. B.
