Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Faience Shabti for Iryry Shabti

Egyptian green faience ushabti figurine,depicted holding two hoes to cultivate the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. He is wearing a long wig . Only his hands, crossed on his chest, protrude from his mummyform shroud which covers all the body. The body is inscribed with a vertical column of hieroglyphs, the translation reads: “The Osiris of the priest Sem, great chief of artisans Iryry, justified. | Egypt - New Kingdom. 20th Dynasty , ca 1186 - 1069 B. C.

Dimensions: 13,60 cm

Condition Report: Earthy adhessions on the surface. Profesionally restored under the arms. Good condition.

Provenance: Spanish Antiquarian - Barcelone, Spain. Acquired in 2014.

Notes:

- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece will include Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union) in process of renewal ( this process can take between 2 and 4 weeks)
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will be requested by us, this process can take beteen 1 and 2 months. According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the buyer's expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price and the tax rate is not applied directly on the total value of the item to be exported, but rather the different percentages by sections are applied to it:
