Rare amulet depicting the goddess Sakhmet in her benign cat-headed appearance, Bastet, sitting on a throne. She wears a tripartite striated headdress and the crown of Egypt on which stands a female cobra (uræus) . The goddess wears a long tight dress. Suspension ring. Siliceous blue turquoise faience, fine technique. Traces of bitumen indicating that it was a funerary amulet.
