Squat jar with sloping rim. - VERY RARE TO FOUND NOW AT THE ART MARKET - Ancient Egypt, Predynastic Period. Dynasty 1st - 4th, c- 3100 - 2500 BC. Material: Granite. The green color it's a rest of copper, this vase was buried in contact with vessels or instruments made of copper. Size: 7 cm diameter and 3. 5 cm height. Provenance: Ex. Private collection, A. R. , Lodon, formed 1970 - 1980. Private collection, Barcelona, since 2008. Condition: Intact. Notes: The seller guarantees that he acquired this piece according to all national and international laws related to the ownership of cultural property. Provenance statement seen by Catawiki. The seller will take care that any necessary permits, like an export license will be arranged, he will inform the buyer about the status of it if this takes more than a few days.
