Scarabs attached to a modern hoop earrings, one with an inscribed figure of a King hunting with a bow and arrow and wearing the blue crown with a nefer sign behind him, the second inscribed with a mirror image of two cobras hanging from wings flanking a good luck sign. Modern gold ear hoops, probably 20th century. Size: Scarabs = 1. 4 cm L - 9/16 inches each (excluding loops) Material: Steatite Culture: Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, c. 1350 B. C. Condition: Intact Provenance: British collection, acquired in the 1970s-1980s. Ex London auction.
