Ancient Greek Apulian Kantharos Wine Vessel Cup

Ancient Greek South Italian Style Apulian Terracotta Kantharos of classical form with high-swung loop handles, a flaring rim, cylindrical stem, and circular foot. Decorated in the Gnathia tradition with polychrome ornament on a black-glaze ground, featuring scrolling vines, foliage, berries, and floral motifs. Executed in the South Italian Apulian style of the late 4th to early 3rd century BCE. The underside is inscribed with the inventory number "A70." Sold as a decorative work in the ancient style; no guarantee of age or authenticity is expressed or implied. Measurements include handles.

Dimensions: 7.5 X 6.5 X 4.25 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with normal surface wear consistent with age and handling. Scattered scratches, areas of paint loss, and small losses to the rim and foot. Evidence of prior restoration, including hairline cracks and areas of overglazing, is present.
