A superb large Attic red-figure kylix related to the Tarquinia Painter. The tondo with a nude athlete with halterios ( ἁλτήρ) a double-knot device used by athletes in ancient Greece during training in the jump. The athlete is enclosed within a greek key band. Includes thermoluminescence certificate | Greek, Attic. 5th Century BC Dimensions: 22,00 x 30,00 cm. Condition Report: Fine condition. Retored from original fragments. Provenance: Provenance: Acquired to Spanish Antiquarian in November 2018. Ex G. Jochmann. Private collection, - Germany. Acquired at Galerie Puhze in 2008. Previously South Germany private collector since the 1960's. Notes: Due to Covid-19 situation and Goverment measures in Spain, the shippments could delay between 2 and 4 weeks. The piece includes authenticity certificate.
